Repointing

Repointing brickwork has gained popularity due to its effectiveness in preventing dampness inside homes. As specialists in this field, we focus on ensuring that your brickwork is properly maintained and moisture-free. Proper repointing not only enhances the appearance of your home but also serves as a crucial barrier against water infiltration.

Even a hairline crack in the mortar between bricks can lead to dampness inside your home. These small openings allow moisture to seep in, potentially causing significant issues over time. Proper repointing is crucial to seal these gaps, preventing water penetration and maintaining the structural integrity of your brickwork.

Not only we can repoint the brickwork but we also offer a very high effective weatherproofer which does not allow any water to penetrate through to the brickwork but allows the cavity to breath which we highly recommend.

This is one of our customer's Gable which they needed doing due to all the mortar coming out between the brickwork which would of caused a lot of dampness.

This customer of ours had a lot of issues with dampness all around the house for the past 4 years. We have now solved their problem by re-pointing the whole front of the property as their issue was due to the deteriorating mortar joints between the bricks. Repointing the mortar has now addressed the moisture problem.

It had seemed like the houses on this street had construction issues, specifically with missing cavity trays and deteriorating mortar as we ended up working on 5 houses just down this one street.

Repointing and installing cavity trays resolved the dampness problems. Addressing these issues across multiple houses shows a consistent construction flaw, but its great that the problems are now solved.
